You will not be offered simplistic ways to be a “four-hour spiritual person.” You will not be taught that the meaning of life is found in getting wealthy or even “getting happy.” What drives Dr. Zeus’s special, high-frequency brand of counseling and coaching is a collaborative, creative, philosophy-meets-practice approach, custom designed to the unique genius and joy of each client.
With AskDrZeus, so-called “problems” are not seen as deficits, but starting points for a curious exploration and discovery of hidden potentials within the human spirit. Dr. Zeus believes that even failures can clarify what you are not, thus freeing you up to be who you are. This leads to deep masculinity, deep femininity, deep creativity, deep truth.
If for instance, masculinity has lost its moorings in a post-gender world, Dr. Zeus helps men creatively “show up and step up” to create a new and more vibrant masculinity, rather than feeling abandoned by history or forfeiting their contributions. If femininity is not being honored in a relationship, Dr. Zeus can affirm and draw out the specific ways women’s confidence and strength can complement rather than become a threat to men.
AskDrZeus thrives on the joy of casting off outworn expectation and habit and allowing surprising insights to enter the picture. Facilitated curiosity and experimentation with life possibilities take the place of prescriptive formulas and expectation. Dr. Zeus knows you don’t have to already know everything; you just have to learn.
As Dr. Zeus, my job is to help you ferret out and develop what your deeper voice is trying to say to you. I am not a “spiritual counselor” in the old sense, but a spirit-based human being who guides and accompanies you as you express your own human spirit expansively into the world.
